Cooper Parry appoints finance partner

Accountancy and advisory firm Cooper Parry has appointed Emma Davies as partner to spearhead the expansion of its Finance Specialists offering across Yorkshire and the North of England.

Emma brings more than 30 years’ experience at Grant Thornton, where she held senior leadership positions including director and partner.

During her career, she has built and led financial accounting advisory and special projects teams, helping businesses access specialist finance professionals and supporting them through advisory projects.

She has also held senior finance roles in the private sector, giving her first-hand experience of the challenges businesses face in attracting and retaining finance talent.

Emma said: “This is an exciting opportunity that brings together everything I've enjoyed throughout my career: helping businesses solve challenges, building great teams and developing long-term relationships. 

“What attracted me to Cooper Parry was its energy, ambition and willingness to challenge the norm.

Emma’s appointment strengthens Cooper Parry’s growing Finance Talent and Intelligence team and is the latest senior addition to its Leeds office.

The office has grown to a double-digit headcount less than a year after opening, with further recruitment planned as Cooper Parry continues to invest in its presence across Yorkshire and the wider North.
