P&O Ferries strengthens leadership team
Ferry and logistics operator P&O Ferries has appointed two senior leaders to strengthen its operational and commercial capabilities across its UK and European network.
Christina Morup has joined as chief operating officer, while Peter Leschly has been appointed chief commercial officer, freight.
Christina brings extensive experience across shipping, leadership and business transformation and will oversee operational performance across the company.
Her remit includes strengthening collaboration between teams and supporting P&O Ferries’ wider transformation and long-term strategy.
Peter brings more than 20 years’ leadership experience in RoPax freight and logistics, most recently with Scandlines, where he supported commercial performance and strategic development.
In his new role, Peter will lead the continued growth of P&O Ferries’ freight business and work with customers and partners to develop its commercial offering across key UK and European trade routes.
Kasper Moos, chief executive of P&O Ferries, which handles more than 1.2 million freight units each year across its network, said: “I am delighted to welcome Christina and Peter to P&O Ferries.
“Both bring extensive industry experience, strong leadership credentials and a proven ability to deliver results.
"Christina’s expertise in shipping operations and business transformation will strengthen our operational capabilities, while Peter’s deep understanding of the freight market and customer needs will support our ambitions for growth.
“Together, their appointments reinforce our commitment to delivering excellent service for our customers, strengthening our operations and building a business that is fit for the future.”
