TheFramers.co.uk opens new West Midlands facility
TheFramers.co.uk has opened a new dedicated workshop and production facility in Rowley Regis, Sandwell, as the business responds to growing nationwide demand for its bespoke picture framing services.
The new West Midlands site will become the company's central production hub, with framing projects from across the UK completed at the facility.
The Framers provides bespoke picture framing for a wide range of pieces, including original artwork, paintings, photographs, memorabilia and certificates, as well as items valued primarily for their personal or sentimental significance.
The company said the decision to establish a central workshop was made as demand increased and its customer base expanded across the country.
Rowley Regis was selected in part because of its central location, allowing The Framers to support its regional locations while offering collection and delivery to customers elsewhere in the UK. Bringing production together at one facility is also intended to help maintain consistent standards as the business grows.
A spokesperson for The Framers said: "People come to us with all kinds of pieces, but the common factor is that what they're asking us to frame matters to them.
"As demand has grown, opening a dedicated central workshop was the natural next step. It gives us the capacity to handle more work while keeping the quality and personal service that have been important to us from the beginning."
The Framers forms part of KELLART.com, a contemporary art gallery specialising in original work by selected emerging artists.
The framing business developed after KELLART began helping clients with framing artwork purchased through the gallery. Customers subsequently started asking whether the same service could be used for pieces they had acquired elsewhere, leading KELLART to acquire TheFramers.co.uk and develop the service further.
While production will be centred in the West Midlands, customers do not need to live nearby to use the service.
The Framers offers complimentary online consultations, allowing customers to show their piece to a framing specialist by video call and discuss options for the frame, mount, glazing and overall presentation.
Customers who already have an idea of what they want can work through their requirements with the team, while those who are unsure can be guided through the available options. Pieces can then be collected for framing or dropped off at one of the company's locations before being returned following completion.
The company describes its approach with the phrase "Frame what matters most", reflecting the range of both financially valuable and personally significant pieces it handles.
The new Rowley Regis facility is now operational, with framing consultations available to customers across the UK.
