AI Collective at Sunderland Business Week

We Are Zenith brings the AI Collective to Sunderland Business Week

North East businesses invited to a free, honest conversation about AI at Sunderland City Hall on Wednesday 14 October.

We Are Zenith is coming to Sunderland Business Week with the AI Collective, a free session that cuts through the hype and gets to the practical questions businesses are asking about artificial intelligence.

The session takes place at Sunderland City Hall from 1pm to 3pm on Wednesday 14 October, as part of the sixth Sunderland Business Week (12 to 16 October 2026).

The AI Collective is Zenith's regular North East meet-up where business owners and leaders talk AI together. Bringing it into Business Week opens the conversation up to even more organisations across the city and the wider region.

Many businesses know AI matters but are stuck on where to start. Others have pockets of their team using it while the rest hold back. Concerns about governance and getting leadership on board are common too. The AI Collective tackles all of this head on, in a relaxed, no-pressure setting.

Attendees will hear which tools are working in practice, learn the common pitfalls to avoid, and see a live demonstration of AI completing everyday business tasks. There will also be plenty of time to share experiences, ask questions and hear how other businesses are getting on.

Steven Welsh, We Are Zenith, said:

"Sunderland is a city that's transforming, and its businesses deserve a straight answer on AI. The AI Collective isn't a sales pitch. It's a room full of people working out what AI actually means for their business, sharing what's worked and what hasn't. We're really proud to be part of Sunderland Business Week and can't wait to welcome people to City Hall."
