Logincident appoints new chief executive
North East software company Logincident has appointed Jordan Nugent as chief executive as it looks to accelerate its next phase of growth.
Jordan takes over from founder Gary Davison, who will remain with the business as chairman.
Founded by Gary in 2012, Logincident develops reporting and data visualisation software used by insurers and businesses across the construction and manufacturing sectors in more than 15 countries.
Jordan initially joined the company to review its software platform and subsequently led its transformation into the configurable reporting system it offers today.
His appointment follows a wider period of development for the business, which relaunched with a new identity and website in September and has since introduced eight free workplace tools.
Jordan said: “Every organisation is sitting on data it has never been able to see as a whole.
“We put it on dashboards that go from the headline number to the record behind it, and make sure the right people know the moment something needs them.
“Now we are adding AI that spots the patterns in time to act, and we are taking all of it to the US.”
Gary, a defendant insurance solicitor for 25 years, originally established Logincident to provide a way of capturing claims evidence at the scene of an incident.
As chairman, he will continue to support the business as Jordan leads its growth and further development.
