Redmayne Bentley appoints planning chief
Investment management and financial planning firm Redmayne Bentley, headquartered in Leeds, has appointed Pete Donaldson as head of financial planning as it continues to grow its financial planning service.
Pete brings more than 30 years’ experience across wealth management and financial planning, including senior roles with bank-based financial services businesses and independent adviser firms.
He spent a significant part of his career with HSBC, where he led regional and national teams and oversaw changes including the introduction of the bank’s first digital client journey and remote advisory teams.
Pete later joined Fairstone as managing director of partnerships, overseeing the onboarding and integration of firms and developing professional partnerships across the UK.
In his new role, Pete will support Redmayne Bentley’s continued investment in and development of its financial planning service.
He is also a chartered fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
