Forrester Boyd welcomes seven trainees
Accountancy firm Forrester Boyd has welcomed seven new trainees across its Lincolnshire and Yorkshire offices as part of its 2026 Trainee Academy.
Alice Battersby and Thomas Colebourne have joined the Louth office, while Darcey Porritt and Owen Taylor have started in Grimsby.
Isobelle Stabeler joins the Beverley team and Nicholas Fuller has been appointed in Scunthorpe, with Oliver Hopwood becoming the first new trainee to join the firm’s growing Leeds office.
The Trainee Academy provides a route into accountancy for sixth form and college leavers, combining practical workplace experience with study towards recognised professional qualifications.
Trainees work alongside experienced colleagues and with a range of clients as they develop their technical knowledge and understanding of the profession.
Carrie Jensen, partner and head of human resources at Forrester Boyd, said: “We are delighted to welcome Alice, Darcey, Isobelle, Nicholas, Oliver, Owen and Thomas to Forrester Boyd and I wish them every success as they begin their careers with us.
“I am incredibly proud of what our Trainee Academy has become and the opportunities it provides for young people who want to forge a career in accountancy.
“Starting work while studying for professional qualifications gives our trainees the chance to put what they learn into practice from day one, supported by experienced colleagues around them.
“It is always exciting to welcome a new cohort and see them take those first steps.
“We look forward to watching all seven develop, achieve their qualifications and build their careers with Forrester Boyd.”
