Frankham Group expands senior team
Multidisciplinary building consultancy Frankham Group has strengthened its senior team with three appointments as it enters its next phase of growth.
Dan Quinn has joined Frankham Risk Management Services as director of fire, based at the group’s Birmingham office.
He brings 25 years’ experience with the UK Fire and Rescue Service, progressing to executive board level, alongside two years working on a major giga-project in the Middle East.
Dan said: “Having had a career to date that has focused largely on enforcement, prohibition and prosecution around fire safety, my role at Frankham sees me tackling the other side of the coin.
“Thanks to my experience in the Fire Service, I am acutely aware of the oversight needed on building safety and fire risk assessment.
“Our role is to be a truly end-to-end partner – not just a service provider – and I’m excited to embed myself into that process to give clients seamless support in this area.
“These are ever-evolving topics and there is a real opportunity to grow this service within existing regions and across the country as Frankham strengthens its foothold in Birmingham and beyond.”
Richard West has joined as chief financial officer, bringing more than 25 years’ experience in senior finance roles, while Rob Hesmondalgh has become Frankham’s first chief technology officer, with responsibility for driving digitisation and improving operational efficiency.
Richard added: “I’m no stranger to working with mid-market, private equity backed businesses and Frankham presents a really exciting opportunity in this space.
“The new partnership with LDC will ultimately allow us to turn Frankham into a national player as the business expands beyond London and the South East – working with new customers to achieve the same results that are evident through Frankham’s past.
“It’s been apparent from the start that the passion for the business runs top down, and the fantastic people of Frankham Group are a key resource to build on this strong foundation.”
Their appointments follow investment from private equity firm LDC earlier this year and the appointment of Richard Chitty as chief executive.
Frankham has also made 28 internal promotions this year, including Holly Watson, Holly Garland, Dawn Barsley-Dale and Paul Marsh progressing to director level, as it continues to
Richard Chitty added: “Our vision is clear.
“We don’t just want to be an industry-leading multi-disciplinary consultancy; we want to be the best place to work with a full national presence providing the same excellent service across all regions.
“That kind of sustainable growth is only possible when we invest in our structure and our people, and we are proud to be doing just that.”
