Karrev appoints senior facilities manager
Manchester-based real estate asset and development management company Karrev has appointed Josh Kirk as senior facilities manager as its investment portfolio continues to grow.
Josh brings 18 years’ facilities management experience, having previously held senior positions including head of facilities at WSP UK.
More recently, he supported the operational delivery of more than 100 job centres across the UK on behalf of The Instant Group as part of its partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions.
In his new role, Josh will support operational services across Karrev’s portfolio, with responsibilities spanning contractor performance, strategic processes, health and safety, ESG initiatives and relationships with tenants and clients.
Josh said: “I’m delighted to be joining Karrev at such an exciting stage in its growth.
“Karrev has an impressive estate and ambitious plans for the future, but it is the people and the company culture that ultimately made this the right opportunity for me.
“As I considered my next career move, finding an organisation with a strong, positive culture was a priority, and Karrev demonstrated that from the outset.”
Josh’s appointment follows completion of Karrev’s £35 million refurbishment of Manchester’s Grade II-listed Sunlight House into Grade A workspace.
The company’s growing portfolio also includes the refurbishment of Liverpool’s historic Martins Bank building, with Josh’s arrival supporting its focus on tenant experience and operational management.
Julien Buronfosse, managing director at Karrev, added: “Josh’s extensive experience in facilities management will be a real asset to Karrev as we continue to grow our portfolio.
“His focus on operational excellence and strong tenant relationships aligns perfectly with our ambitions for Sunlight House and beyond.”
