Simple Life Management makes five senior hires
Build-to-rent specialist Simple Life Management has expanded its senior team with five appointments as it prepares for further growth across the UK.
Four join from single-family housing management platform Ascend, which was founded by Simple Life Management managing director Ged McPartlin.
Adam Stephenson has been appointed director of operations, Michael Burgess joins as head of technology, Josh Foster as head of credit control and Joe Alderton as senior data analyst.
Emma Baker has also joined as head of people and culture from Blackburn-based composite materials business Cristex.
Their appointments follow Simple Life Management’s move earlier this year to bring the lettings and property management of Sigma Capital’s London build-to-rent portfolio in-house.
The addition of the 1432-home portfolio means the business now manages 5942 completed and under-construction homes across the UK.
The expanded senior team will support plans to grow its national portfolio, develop institutional partnerships and strengthen its position in the single-family housing market.
Ged said: “Since joining the Simple Life Management team earlier this year, I have been focused on how we can accelerate our next phase of growth, and a big part of that strategy has been about securing the strongest team to help us achieve those goals.
“By bringing in these senior hires right across the business, we are well positioned to continue to scale at pace.
“Having worked with many of the new team previously, I know first-hand the passion and drive that they bring and I look forward to seeing them continue to thrive.”
