Views expands team with specialist trio
Macclesfield-based residential developer and investor Views has made three senior appointments to support growth across its investment and housebuilding operations.
Rob Haynes has joined as head of acquisitions and will lead the origination and execution of investment deals, working alongside co-founder Shoaib Muhammad.
He brings more than 15 years’ industry experience, including recent roles with MCR Property Group and Delph.
Shoaib Muhammad, co-chief executive of Views, said: “Our investment business focuses on finding opportunities where we can create value through active asset management, refurbishment and repositioning.
“Rob’s appointment strengthens our ability to source and execute those transactions, while building lasting relationships with agents, owners and investment partners.
“We’re ambitious about growing this side of Views, with a clear focus on disciplined buying and a credible route to realising value.”
Meanwhile, Andrew Turnbull has been appointed to the newly-created role of delivery director within Views’ housebuilding business, taking responsibility for projects from acquisition through to completion.
And Simon Newby joins the same division as senior contracts manager following nine years with Vistry Group.
With 22 years’ housebuilding experience, he will oversee on-site delivery across Views’ housing developments, including responsibility for health and safety.
The appointments come as Views prepares to progress a pipeline of more than 240 homes, which are set to start on site by 2027, as the business continues to pursue its growth plans.
Shujaat Rasool, co-chief executive of Views, added: “These are significant hires and are demonstrative of turning the strategy and transformational work over the last 12 months into real capability.
“The company turns eight at the end of this year and, with respect to a number of advancements across both sides of the business, the time was right to solidify operations with new talent.
“We’re part-way through a pivotal time for the group and the collective knowledge & skills of our recent hires will complement our existing team as we continue delivering on our growing pipeline.”
