AJC Group strengthens development team
Dorset-based affordable housing developer AJC Group has strengthened its team with three appointments as it continues to expand its development programme across the South.
Robert Healy joins as technical manager, Rory Beynsberger as project buyer and Charlie Carey as trainee site manager, supporting the company’s technical, procurement and construction operations.
Robert brings more than a decade of experience across architecture and housebuilding and will oversee technical delivery, including coordinating consultants and supporting site teams.
He is currently working on the first phase of AJC’s major regeneration project in Boscombe.
Rory will manage material procurement across live developments, working alongside construction, technical and finance teams.
And Charlie is gaining hands-on construction management experience at AJC’s 48-home affordable housing development in Sturminster Newton.
Their appointments follow a year in which AJC completed 80 affordable homes and increased its workforce by 14 per cent.
The business is progressing its ‘500 in 5’ ambition to deliver 500 affordable homes across the Wessex region within five years, with projects underway in Bournemouth, Boscombe, Dorchester and Sturminster Newton.
David Cracklen, director at AJC Group, said: “The need for affordable housing across our region is significant and, as our development programme grows in response, so must the team behind it.
“Robert, Rory and Charlie bring different skills to the business, and all three will play an important role in helping us deliver the homes in our pipeline.
“We are committed to investing in people at different stages of their careers and allowing them to develop alongside AJC.”
