JMG names regional managing director

Insurance brokerage JMG Insurance Brokers has appointed Alistair Evans as managing director of its South Yorkshire business as it looks to expand its regional presence.

Alistair brings more than 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry, spanning commercial insurance, sales, client management and senior leadership roles.

He previously served as managing director of a Rotherham-based brokerage, overseeing its development from a regional operation into a business with national and international reach.

During his tenure, he also supported significant organic growth across the branch and wider region.

In his new role, Alistair will lead JMG Insurance Brokers’ nine-strong South Yorkshire team, focusing on business development, recruitment and strengthening relationships with local companies.

The business provides insurance services to organisations across a range of sectors, including construction, engineering, manufacturing, property, technology, care and hospitality.

Part of JMG Group, the brokerage combines regional expertise with the resources and market access of the wider organisation.

Alistair’s appointment forms part of its strategy to grow its South Yorkshire operation and expand its client base across the region.
