Lichfields strengthens Thames Valley team
National planning and development consultancy Lichfields has strengthened its Thames Valley team with the appointment of Beatriz Pinol as a planner at its Reading office.
Beatriz joins after completing a BSc (Hons) in geography at the University of St Andrews, where her studies included GIS mapping and urban analysis.
She also gained experience in sustainability policy and environmental reporting through internships with an environmental non-governmental organisation and the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures.
In her new role, Beatriz will support planning and development projects across the Thames Valley, working with clients in the residential, commercial, leisure, tourism and public sectors.
Beatriz said: “I’m really pleased to be joining the Thames Valley team and starting my career in planning with Lichfields.
“I’m looking forward to building on the experience I gained at university and through my internships, while getting involved in a wide range of projects across the region.”
Beatriz’s appointment comes as Lichfields continues to expand its regional operations, building on its involvement in several major developments.
These include LEGOLAND Windsor, Berkeley Homes’ ongoing redevelopment of the former Horlicks factory in Slough and the award-winning Cubecold multi-temperature warehouse in Theale.
Daniel Lampard, head of Lichfields’ Thames Valley office, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Beatriz to the team.
“We have a busy programme of work across the region and her appointment adds further strength and breadth as we take forward a number of significant projects.
“She brings a strong academic background alongside useful experience in sustainability and environmental policy and will have the opportunity to work on some high-profile schemes from the outset.”
