Fintech venture aims to ease cross-border trade

A new financial technology platform has been launched to help businesses expand internationally by simplifying payments, recruitment and market entry.

London-based Movere connects companies to more than 500 payment methods across over 100 countries through a single integration, bringing together financial services, global hiring and specialist advice.

Founded by payments and banking executives Praful Morar, Walé Abidakun and Lukas Pukaj, the firm aims to remove some of the operational barriers associated with international expansion.

Its platform allows businesses to accept payments online and in person, with transactions automatically routed according to priorities such as cost and approval rates.

AI-powered onboarding technology is designed to reduce integration times from several weeks to as little as 15 minutes, helping companies establish operations in new markets more quickly.

Alongside payment processing, Movere offers recruitment and payroll services through its Grow platform, powered by Kumo HR, enabling businesses to hire internationally without establishing local legal entities.

Additional services include donation and fee collection for community organisations, alongside one-to-one consultations covering regulation, market entry and business growth.

Movere is entirely founder-funded, with its three founders bringing more than 70 years’ combined experience at firms including Worldpay, PayPal and NatWest.
