Healthcare provider opens new Holywood clinic

A private healthcare provider is expanding its Northern Ireland network with a £250,000 investment in a new clinic.

Duality Healthcare will open its sixth location at 43 High Street, Holywood, on October 26, creating ten jobs across clinical and support roles.

Bosses say the expansion into North Down will provide local patients with access to same-day private GP appointments, diagnostic scans and specialist healthcare services.

Facilities will include women’s and men’s health clinics, minor surgery, blood tests, hearing assessments and ADHD diagnosis and treatment.

Patients will also be able to access appointments remotely through Duality's UK-wide virtual care service.

Nicola Herron, chief medical officer at Duality Healthcare, said: “Holywood is a natural next step for Duality. 

“We’ve built our network on the belief that people deserve to be seen quickly, by the right clinician, close to where they live, and this clinic is a direct expression of that.”

Founded in 2023, Duality Healthcare currently operates clinics in Belfast, Newry, Omagh, Ballymena and Derry/Londonderry.

The Holywood opening will add GPs, nurses, healthcare assistants and administrative staff to its workforce.
