Howarths appoints HR growth partner
People consultancy Howarths, based in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire, has strengthened its team with the appointment of Rhian Knapper-Myers as HR growth partner.
The business, which specialises in legal, safety and HR growth services, has recruited Rhian to support organisations in developing effective people strategies and improving workplace cultures.
In her new role, she will work with clients to develop HR initiatives and learning and development programmes, while identifying opportunities to improve employee experiences and business performance.
Rhian joins Howarths with experience in human resources management, having previously worked as an HR manager for an events theming company.
She has also recently completed a master’s degree in occupational and organisational psychology, further strengthening her expertise in workplace behaviour, employee development and organisational effectiveness.
Rhian said: “I thrive on being able to make a difference and seeing businesses reach their potential, so this role is perfect for me.
“It is not just about the position, the team and business that you are part of is equally important.
“When I started to read and understand about the culture and values at Howarths, I knew it was the place for me to be.
“HR is an exciting sector.
“With the Employment Rights Act 2025 having a significant impact on businesses and employee’s expectations evolving, there are huge opportunities for businesses to consider how they support and develop their people and to invest more in culture, engagement, and wellbeing.
“I am looking forward to helping shape and deliver strategies that create positive workplaces and drive business success.”
Rhian’s appointment adds to Howarths’ specialist HR capabilities as the consultancy continues to support businesses with people management, workplace development and long-term organisational growth.
Tracey Hopkins, managing director at Howarths, added: “We are really pleased to welcome Rhian to our team.
“From her experience we know that she is passionate about supporting people, helping them to grow and reach their potential and we cannot wait to support her in the same way.”
