LevelFive appoints US managing director
A UK-based artificial intelligence consultancy has appointed a US managing director as it prepares to expand into the North American market.
Applied AI studio LevelFive, headquartered in Newcastle, has named Patrick Richardson to lead its American operations, with plans to establish a US headquarters in Boston.
Patrick, founder of fractional management firm The States, brings extensive experience in scaling international technology and digital consultancy businesses.
He previously served as US managing director and global chief marketing officer at hedgehog lab, where he established and expanded the company’s operations across the Americas.
During his tenure, he oversaw client strategy, sales, marketing, operations and financial management, helping grow the US business into a multi-million-pound operation.
Patrick has also previously worked alongside LevelFive's Sarat Pediredla and Alan Morris during their time at hedgehog lab.
In his new role, he will develop strategic partnerships, recruit a local team and oversee the consultancy's expansion across North America.
Patrick said: “I am thrilled to partner with LevelFive at such a pivotal moment in the evolution of software development.
“LevelFive's model of outcome-based pricing and using senior builders with AI agents to ship production-ready software 5x faster is exactly what US scale-ups and PE-backed firms need to stay competitive.
“I look forward to establishing our Boston headquarters and helping US leaders build real, action-oriented AI capabilities.”
LevelFive specialises in AI-powered software development, digital products and automated business workflows, targeting scale-ups, mid-market companies and private equity-backed businesses.
The expansion will introduce its fixed-price, outcome-based software delivery model to the US market.
Sarat Pediredla, co-founder and operator of LevelFive, added: “Our expansion into the US is a natural step as we scale our mission to redefine software delivery for the AI era.
“Traditional consultancies are too slow, billing hours instead of delivering value.
“By appointing Patrick Richardson as our US managing director, we are operationalising our US growth with a proven leader who understands how to scale high-impact digital agencies and help well-positioned mid-market companies achieve rapid, production-grade results.”
