Marrons welcomes five graduates to its national teams
National planning and development consultancy Marrons has strengthened its teams across the UK with the appointment of five graduates.
Simran Nijjar joins the Leicester office, Tash Murphy has been appointed in Sheffield, Pippa Brogden and Izzy Pendle join the Bristol team, and Balvir Rai takes up a role in Stratford-upon-Avon.
The recruits bring academic backgrounds spanning planning, architecture and geography, alongside experience in consultancy, local government and the development sector.
Simran holds a master’s degree in planning from Loughborough University and previously worked at Charnwood Borough Council, having also completed an internship with Marrons.
Tash studied urban and regional planning at the University of Sheffield and brings experience from a local authority highways department.
Pippa, who also studied at Loughborough, has gained experience with Ridge and Partners, Bloor Homes and Places for People.
Meanwhile, architecture graduate Izzy previously worked with Marrons while completing her studies at the University of Plymouth.
And Balvir joins with experience at Turley and Telford & Wrekin Council, having studied geography and urban and regional planning at the University of Birmingham.
Their appointments reflect Marrons’ continued investment in developing early-career talent across its national operations.
David Pendle, partner at Marrons, said: “We’re pleased to welcome our talented new graduates to Marrons, each bringing a strong academic foundation alongside valuable experience gained across the public and private sectors.
“The planning and development industry needs people who can bring different perspectives, disciplines and experiences to the challenges facing development.
“Supporting people at the early stages of their careers is both rewarding and to build the expertise and leadership our profession will need in the years ahead, and we are proud to be leading with this at Marrons.”
