Redmayne Bentley appoints investment manager
Investment management, financial planning and stockbroking firm Redmayne Bentley has strengthened its Manchester office with the appointment of Robert Salter as investment manager.
Robert brings 25 years’ experience in wealth and investment management, joining from Brooks Macdonald, where he served as a senior investment manager.
Throughout his career, he has advised a broad range of clients, including private individuals, charities and personal injury trusts.
He has also worked closely with financial advisers, accountants and solicitors, managing investment portfolios across a variety of mandates.
His expertise includes retirement planning and sustainable investing, alongside experience leading a team responsible for analysing investment funds focused on European markets.
Robert, who will be based at Redmayne Bentley’s new office at No.1 St Michael’s, Jackson’s Row, in Manchester, said: “Redmayne Bentley’s commitment to delivering a personal service really stood out, making it a natural fit for me.
“I’m looking forward to supporting clients and using my experience and knowledge to help shape client outcomes.”
Andrew Shepherd, head of Redmayne Bentley’s Manchester office, added: “Robert is a great addition to our team in Manchester and I’m delighted to welcome someone of his calibre to the firm.
“He has a depth of investment knowledge and his experience and insight will help support our growth ambitions within the region.
“Following Redmayne Bentley’s 150th anniversary last year, the appointment of Robert will strengthen our Manchester team at what’s an exciting time for the business and enables us to continue meeting the needs of clients across the region.”
