Skybound Wealth strengthens advisory team

Financial advisory firm Skybound Wealth has promoted former professional footballer Jamie Proctor to head of athletes and creators as it expands its specialist wealth management services.

Jamie joined the business in September 2025 as the division’s first private wealth adviser, shortly after its launch in August last year.

A qualified financial planner, he brings first-hand experience of professional sport alongside expertise in financial advice.

In his new role, Jamie will oversee the division’s day-to-day development, support recruitment and strengthen relationships with clubs, agencies and organisations across sport and digital media.

He will also continue advising clients directly, helping professional athletes, content creators and their families manage their finances and plan for the future.

Jamie said: “When I joined Skybound, I wanted to build the kind of advice I would have valued as a player: clear, practical and built around the whole career, not just the next contract.

“Over the past 12 months we have built a specialist team whose work now spans Premier League and European football clubs, Women’s Super League clubs and one of the world’s largest multi-club ownership groups.

“We have established relationships with international sports and entertainment agencies, built a strong network within the Saudi Pro League and expanded our work across boxing and media.

“Our global presence, combined with dedicated expertise in sport and entertainment, gives us a proposition I believe is exceptionally difficult to match.

“Clients’ careers cross borders and their advice needs to keep pace: they need continuity, coordination and people who understand their world.”

The division’s growing team includes former Scotland international footballer Christophe Berra and Team GB Olympic boxer Delicious Orie, both qualified financial advisers.

It also draws on the expertise of broadcaster, author and private wealth adviser Emmanuel Asuquo.

The team is supported by Skybound’s specialist tax advisers, cross-border resources and financial forecasting technology.
