Art of Cloud expands in consultancy takeover
A Salesforce consultancy has doubled its workforce and turnover following an acquisition designed to accelerate its growth and expand its market reach.
Art of Cloud has bought fellow Salesforce specialist Silver Softworks, bringing together two consultancies that have independently achieved Summit Partner status, the software provider’s highest level of accreditation.
The combined business will operate under the Art of Cloud brand, with an expanded team spanning the UK and mainland Europe.
Art of Cloud chief executive Liz Rhodes will continue to lead the business, alongside former Silver Softworks chief executive Nick Fisher, who becomes chief operating officer.
Art of Cloud founder Ben Stevenson will serve as chief revenue officer.
Nick said: “It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to be able to move ahead with a deal that brings together leaders in the ecosystem who share the same values and growth ambitions and consolidates the skills and expertise of two highly experienced and respected teams.
“I’m looking forward to taking the service and delivery function of Art of Cloud to new levels, backed by our broader resource pool and solid support capabilities, fuelled by the ability to deliver even the most complex projects at scale and speed.”
The acquisition builds on an established working relationship between the two companies, which have previously collaborated on complex Salesforce projects.
It also brings together complementary expertise, combining Silver Softworks' experience supporting growing non-profit and financial organisations with Art of Cloud's capabilities in complex system design, implementation and cross-cloud integrations.
The enlarged consultancy aims to broaden its service offering, strengthen its geographical presence and pursue further long-term growth.
Liz said the business was “thrilled about the prospect of delivering even more great services, growth and expansion” through its newly combined team.
Liz added: “This feels like an incredibly exciting moment and a fantastic opportunity for us.”
“We are delighted to be able to share the incredible experience and knowledge of Nick and his Silver Softworks team which will allow us to continue developing our footprint within the Salesforce eco-system and delivering excellence for a rapidly growing range of clients.
“We know our internal teams will benefit too - enjoying even more chances for career progression and development, as well as working alongside and learning from a pool of new and talented colleagues.”
