JS welcomes six new recruits
A Warrington-headquartered accountancy, audit, tax and business advisory firm has welcomed six graduates and apprentices as it continues to invest in developing future talent.
JS has appointed Dani Hampshire, Thomas Edge, Nathan Harrop, Mya Farrell and Courtney Woodcock as accounts assistants, alongside Grace Lyon as a tax assistant.
The appointments come during a period of expansion for the firm, which opened a Liverpool city centre office earlier this year, supporting growth across its audit, accounts and tax services.
Further recruitment is planned, with additional audit assistants expected to join in January 2027.
The new recruits will benefit from on-the-job training alongside JS’ internal Incrementum Training Programme, which combines technical development with communication, leadership and collaboration skills.
They will also have access to the firm’s JS Future Links Networking Group, which connects emerging professionals across the financial and professional services sectors.
James Wood, accounts partner at JS, said: “While there is increasing discussion around the shortage of entry-level opportunities for graduates and college leavers across different sectors, we remain committed to investing in future talent.
“By creating opportunities for young professionals and providing them with the right support and development, we are building the skills and expertise that strengthen our teams and help us continue delivering exceptional advice to clients across the region.
“As an independent firm, we’re proud to invest in people from the very start of their careers. New talent brings fresh perspectives, new ideas and plays an important role in the future success of our business.
“This has already been a milestone year for JS, with the opening of our Liverpool office and growth across every service line.
“Our new trainees have made a fantastic start and I’m looking forward to supporting their development as they progress their careers with us.”
