Mad Devs drives forward with global ambitions
An automotive technology company is driving international growth after reaching a customer milestone on home soil.
Leeds-headquartered Mad Devs has surpassed 2500 customers for its Connect platform, with its software now being used by automotive businesses in South Africa, Australia and Ireland.
The expansion marks the first overseas deployments of two of its core products, iStoreDOCS and iConvert, as the company looks to build on its established position in the automotive retail sector.
Adrian Favill, director at Mad Devs, said: “Reaching 2500 customers is an important milestone for the business, but seeing our technology being used internationally is particularly encouraging.
“We’ve spent years working closely with UK dealers to understand the challenges they face and develop software that makes their businesses easier to manage.
“The fact that our products are now being adopted in South Africa, Australia and the Middle East shows that many of those challenges are shared by dealers around the world.
“It gives us a strong foundation for further international growth.”
Led by Adrian and fellow director Mark Craven, Mad Devs develops software that helps car dealerships manage sales, customer information and regulatory compliance.
Its Connect platform combines document management, customer enquiry tracking and digital sales tools, helping dealerships streamline administration and improve operational efficiency.
The technology also includes a customer portal, with 82 per cent of customer journeys across its dealership network now handled through the system.
Serving businesses ranging from independent dealerships to major motor groups, Mad Devs is targeting further overseas opportunities as automotive retailers increasingly invest in digital sales processes and customer management technology.
Mark added: “Our growth has come from listening to dealers and making sure our technology solves problems they face every day.
“They want systems that work together, are easy for their teams to use and help them deliver a better experience for customers.
“Our growth reflects the relationships we’ve built with dealers over many years.
“Our priority now is to build on that progress, both at home and overseas.”
