Family lift firm aims higher after office agreement
A family-owned lift firm says it is primed to move up a level after completing a six-figure office deal.
Jackson Lifts has expanded with a Tamworth base.
Officials says the £450,000-plus Lichfield Road Industrial Estate venture marks “an exciting new chapter” for the 1979-founded business.
They add the two-storey, 4515sq ft Meltex House hub will provide “space and facilities to support future growth” at the firm, which is known for maintaining lifts, escalators and cradles nationwide.
Philip Rudd, Jackson Lift Group board director, said: “This new facility provides a strong platform for the next stage of our planned growth, allowing us to continue supporting our existing national and local customers while developing new opportunities across the region.”
The office deal was supported by Birmingham-based property consultant Johnson Fellows.
Mark Fitzpatrick, Johnson Fellows partner, added: “The property offered the ideal space and flexibility Jackson Lifts needed.”
