The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a framework that sets guidelines for the collection and processing of personal information of individuals within the European Union.
This new legislation will come into effect on May 25th, 2018.
Our workshop takes delegates through a structured workbook that builds a plan for what business owners will need to do in their business to prepare for GDPR. It is an interactive session considering the practical application of the regulation into YOUR business so that you can comply with the regulation.

Delegates who attend this session at the North East Business and Innovation Centre (BIC), will build a picture of what they need to do in their business to comply with the new regulations.
Each event will be a 3 hour session built around:
- An interactive presentation
- Workbooks – individual personal copy to build a plan for YOUR business
- Journal record booklet – this will allow you to record the action being taken within YOUR business
- Certificate of attendance
