North East Chamber of Commerce Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) team & the Local Skills Improvement Fund (LSIF) team would like to invite you to a Clean Energy Hub (Renewables and Welding) employer engagement event at Redcar and Cleveland College on Monday 20th of January 9.45am – 12noon.
Please join us to hear all about what has been implemented owing to work carried out via the LSIP & LSIF ‘‘You said, we did’’.
What to expect:
- Networking & Refreshments.
- Experience Redcar & Cleveland College new Hydrogen Electrolyser Virtual Reality equipment and software.
- Learn about updates in provision including Introduction to Hydrogen and Carbon Capture (CCUS) courses accredited by Opito.
- Hear about the journey from concept to delivery from JBA Engineering and the use of AI in the development and design.
- Discussion sessions to provide feedback and share ideas.
- Tour of the Clean Energy Hub to see in practice the very first simulated bespoke Carbon Capture and Hydrogen Electrolyser Rigs with VR headset experience.
- Tour of the new Welding Academy: visit the brand new, purpose-built welding facility designed to fulfil the current skills need in industry.
