Beverly Sherratt is an Organisation and People Development Consultant within Exclusive Limited. She, graduated from Sunderland University in 1997 with her MA HRM and CIPD, spent 22 years as a Human Resources professional largely within the public and third sectors, spending 5 years in a leading National HR role delivering projects working collaboratively with Deloitte & Touche, Hays, and Towers Perrin, together with a decade leading and setting up HR functions. Beverly specialises in Communication, Behaviour, and Strategy. She is an organisation development specialist with a passion for organisation culture, communication and behaviour. With an interest in employee engagement and well-being, in 2010 Beverly was able to secure £25,000 of funding to undertake a research project into the impact of organisational culture and leadership on staff attendance and mental health. The findings of this project provided an insight that has shaped her approach to Organisation Development, People Strategy, Leadership / Management and Staff Development. She has also worked closely with the Sunday Times Best Companies award and Art of Engagement, leading North Star Housing Group to be the highest ranked North East based Best Public Sector organisation in 2010. Beverly is also an E-Author with a published Kindle and E-Book publication, "I'm Shadow ... Pleased To Meet You!". The book provides a humorous resource highlighting the early warning signs of stress and an aid to understanding mental health for employers. carers, family and friends of those experiencing depression. She has published articles in People Management Magazine, for the Energy Savings Trust, winning a silver screen award for her Grey Fleet, Green Travel Policy, and for the Coaching Academy to inspire leaders on the importance of communication and strategic direction in developing a culture of well-being. As a consultant, Beverlys' operational work includes complex case reviews and independent investigations. In her 1:1 work, Beverly is a NLP coach and senior / aspiring leader mentor. She works with first line managers to Chief Executives across sectors. Her strategic work focuses on strategic partnering, organisation development and design, and working with organisation culture, behaviours and communication. Beverly is passionate about well-being and undertakes diagnostic projects into the impact of organisation culture, behaviour and communication on staff well-being, to support organisations in the development of well-being strategies. Beverly has a passion for people development and specialises in leadership and aspiring leaders’ development, team development and communication, creative strategic project planning using the Disney model. She has developed a programme specifically for HR professionals to operate with impact and influence as change agents within their organisations, together with her “Confident Me…. Understanding You”, and “Unravelling the People Puzzle” courses. She is a licensed DISC trainer and an accredited DISC practitioner. Her work is underpinned by DISC. This means she works with organisations, teams and individuals to help them understand behaviours, drivers, and motivators, in order to recruit the right people, provide appropriate development and induction, and to work together in an environment where they understand themselves and others to maximise performance.
