Declan Curran, knows a thing or two about setting up your own business. Since leaving University in 1998 with a First Class Honours degree in Literature, Declan dabbled in a few advertising and marketing roles whilst building and living on his own yacht in Canary Wharf, before quitting his job on the 10th July 2006 promising himself that he would only ever work for himself. Soon after, he started developing flats around London until the credit crunch hit, he then decided to set up HomeFix Direct. As the MD of HomeFix Direct, Declan Curran has been responsible for home repairs and maintenance for hundreds of homes throughout the UK since founding the company in 2010.
