I joined GBLF in February 2013 having previously worked at Smith Sutcliffe Solicitors in Burnley, Lancashire. I am a Resolution Accredited Specialist in Advanced Financial Provision, Private Children Law and Domestic Abuse. I am also a member of the: Law Society Children Panel (Children Representative); and Law Society Family Law Panel. I undertake all aspects of Family and Matrimonial law including : Divorce, Judicial Separation and Nullity proceedings; Resolving Matrimonial finances; Proceedings concerning children: Private law cases – disputes between parents concerning the arrangements for their children involving Residence, Contact and also representing the interests of children through their appointed Guardian; Public law cases – acting for parents and grandparents where Children proceedings are brought by a Local Authority. As a member of the Children Panel I also represent the interests of children through the Children’s Guardian. Domestic Violence and Abuse proceedings for Injunction orders; and Cohabitee disputes and claims. I am also admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in New Zealand and an Independent Cost Assessor for the Legal Aid Agency.
