Malcolm Hanson has been appointed as the new care home manager at Kenton Hall care home in Newcastle. With 17 years of management experience and a career spanning 33 years in the NHS and health and social care, Malcolm is well-equipped to lead Kenton Hall into a new era of excellence. Prior to this appointment, Malcolm managed sister home, Craigielea care home in Gateshead, demonstrating a strong commitment to quality care and operational efficiency. As a Registered General Nurse for 20 years, his expertise and compassionate approach are key assets in meeting the diverse needs of residents. Kenton Hall offers modern, purpose-built facilities, with 60 spacious en-suite bedrooms, open-plan communal areas, a spa room, and beautifully landscaped gardens. The home provides comprehensive residential, nursing, palliative, and respite care to both private and local authority-funded residents. Malcolm Hanson said: “I am thrilled to join Kenton Hall, a care home known for its dedication to quality and community.
