OU offers advice to potential postgrads
Workers in the North East thinking about returning to study at postgraduate level are being given the chance to find out more about improving their job prospects. Those wanting to discover more about a subject they are passionate about or wanting a postgraduate qualification like an MBA are being invite to attend a Postgraduate Fair hosted by the Open University in the North on 5 July.
The event, held at Newcastle’s Royal Station Hotel between 4pm and 8pm, offers attendees the chance to talk to OU experts about particular areas of study. The event also features talks on popular postgraduate programmes including education, social sciences, computing, technology and business administration.
David Knight, The Open University in the North’s regional director, says: “The OU offers an excellent programme of flexible postgraduate study designed to be taken alongside busy work, social and family lives. Our students tell us we are getting things right as – for the second year running – the University has the highest overall satisfaction rating in the National Student Survey. The Postgraduate Fair is an excellent chance to get expert advice from OU staff about which qualifications you could tackle.”
