Law firm charity team gets full marks
Law firm Dickinson Dees LLP has expanded its work with independent schools across the UK by 138% over the past twelve months.
This has led to the Charities and Independent Schools Team being ranked fourth in this year’s Independent Schools Financial Yearbook, up five places from 2007.
Acting for leading bodies including Cancer Research UK and Scope, the three-strong team led by leading charities lawyer Ros Harwood, has also been shortlisted for Charities Team of the Year at the 2008 STEP Private Client Awards. Dickinson Dees is the only firm outside London to be included in the shortlist.
Ros Harwood said: “The Charities and Independent Schools team was formed in 2005 and we are extremely proud of our achievements in such a short space of time. “We are delighted with this year’s ranking and plan to expand the division further over the coming year. Having had such a successful year, we look forward to what the future will bring for the team.”
