Merger made official with parties
To celebrate the official merger of two North East law firms - Mincoffs in Newcastle and Jacksons from Tees Valley - now named Mincoff Jacksons, the firm held two special welcome parties at the MIMA (Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art) and the Baltic Art Gallery in Newcastle.
Guests from the past and present of both firms attended the events, including 104-year-old friend of the firm, Mrs Jenny Bowron, who joined the party held at Tees Valley’s contemporary art gallery Mima along with over 100 guests.
Manager and partner Nigel Kidwell said “We are both proud of our long standing histories of working with clients to achieve their objectives and look forward to combining best practice to ensure that they continue to receive a first class service from us.
“The welcome parties were fantastic opportunities to thank past and previous clients and to share our aims for the future.”
The two firms merged in October this year to become one of the top five players in the region’s legal market. The firm will be seeking to expand its client base further across the North of England and it also aims to develop its work outside this region on the back of its strength in numbers.
