Six new internet disorders should be added to psychology manuals

A cracked.com article has suggested six new internet disorders that are caused by the Internet.

“Online Intermittent Explosive Disorder” and “Low Cyber Self-Esteem” are personal favourites from the online magazine’s proposed updates to psychological diagnostic manuals.

Internet Addiction Disorder (IAD) has been left out from the list, but there have been reports in the past of people dying from exhaustion from internet addiction, including a man in China who died in a cybercafé after playing an online video game for three consecutive days.
