NOF announces new targets
A NORTH EAST based energy firm, which provides business support for the oil, gas, nuclear and offshore renewables sectors, is growing its international presence in 2011 with an increased schedule of global market visits.
Announced as part of its annual Chief Executive’s Message to Members, NOF Energy has identified a group of priority countries, which present strong market penetration potential for its 371 member companies.
The list includes Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Singapore Norway, Brazil and the United States. In addition to these markets, NOF Energy will also lead delegations to, among others, the United Arab Emirates, the Netherlands and Qatar.
As part of Chief Executive George Rafferty’s 2011 message to members, he confirmed that NOF Energy had assisted members in achieving an additional £50 million of new business during 2010.
He said: “2010 was a highly successful year for NOF Energy and its members. Our major achievement was in assisting members secure the £50 million of new business.
“This has brought the total to over £140 million of new work won through NOF Energy support in three years.”
