Law firm offering free advice to entrepreneurs.
Legal experts from Muckle LLP are offering free legal advice to entrepreneurs with a new idea at an event at Newcastle City Library.
The law firm decided to set up the session in partnership with Newcastle Science City to highlight the potential pitfalls involved in setting up a business.
It is hoped that these seminars will provide an understanding of the structures, which can be used, such as a limited company, partnership or a community interest company, some of which provide more protection than others.
Justin Barlow, from Muckle LLP commented: “It is important that the risks are managed from the beginning whilst helping business people sustain the excitement of turning ideas into a new venture and minimising the potential pitfalls along the way.”
Simon Green, programme manager from Newcastle Science City added: “I know from personal experience how scary it can be when you first start off in business.
“These seminars aim to help with that, and highlight which things you should know about and which aren’t so important.”
The session will run from 8.30am to 10am on Wednesday June 29.
