Legal Market research firm shows record turnover.
A legal market research firm based in Newcastle has reported a record turnover, with profits set to continue rising.
Acritas, which also has offices in London and New York, reposted a 60% rise in turnover to £1.6 million.
This increase has been attributed to the signing of significant Brazilian and Australian clients, as well as the established relationships the business has with 35 of the worlds top law firms.
Many of these firms rely heavily on the research undertaken by Acritas in order to develop their strategies, better understand client needs and enhance their business performance.
Founded in Newcastle in 2002, Acritas now has offices in both London and New York.
Chef executive and Acritas founder Lisa Hart said: “I am delighted with the end of year results for 2010 and thanks to a very strong start to 2011, I am confident we will be able to build on that success.
“The international legal sector is highly competitive and if firms want to compete effectively then they need early warning of emerging industry trends and to plan for the changing needs of their clients.”
