Ward Hadaway win major health advisory contract

Ward Hadaway have been chosen to sit on a major health advisory panel to provide legal advice to over 100 NHS organisations nationwide.

HealthTrust Europe chose the firm over a number of others after a closely fought tender process.

Ward Hadaway will now provide services for the next three years in a range of specialist areas including property, governance, healthcare law, primary care services and mental health issues.

Jeff Keeble, Partner and Head of Healthcare at Ward Hadaway, said: “We are delighted to have been appointed to the HealthTrust Europe framework.

“This is one of the most important procurement organisations for healthcare providers across the West Midlands and the South of England so this is a fantastic endorsement of the quality of service and expertise which we can provide to NHS organisations.

Ward Hadaway already works with firms across the North East, and this latest appointment will confirm their place as a major player within the healthcare sector.

As well as being one of only six other firms in the country to be in the NHS Litigation Authority panel for non-clinical legal services, they have also advised on a number of ground-breaking projects, including the North East transfer of services from two Primary Care Trusts to NHS Foundation Trust.

Jeff Keeble said: “We have worked extremely hard to build up our current healthcare team and to ensure it provides the best possible service to support the fantastic work being done within the NHS.

“We are looking forward to working with our new partners at HealthTrust Europe and their members over the next three years.”
