US social media marketer opens UK office
US small business marketing advisor, Constant Contact Inc will extend its services to UK SME.
The company aims to support its current UK customer base, of over 10,000, and its partner base, with the opening of a London office.
Constant Contact has recently conducted research that shows only a third of UK SMEs believe their current social media marketing efforts have been effective.
Building on this, the company offer their Social Campaigns product, a tool designed to help SMEs quickly and easily run measurable social media marketing campaigns on Facebook.
Annette Lafrate, UK managing director at Constant Contact, said: “While there are plenty of differences between geographies, small businesses around the world have one big thing in common: they are time, and resource starved.
“In fact, our research shows that two of the biggest challenges for UK SMEs are effectively targeting the right audience and keeping up with the latest online marketing tools.
“We’re here to help them tackle those challenges so they can create effective online marketing campaigns, quickly and easily, and get back to their customers’ needs.”
Two free social media tools will also be offered in the shape of ‘NutshellMail,’ a monitoring tool, and ‘Social Media Quickstarter,’ a starter package for SMEs wanting to start social media marketing.
Annette continued: “Education is a hallmark of our offering. The vast majority of small business owners aren’t marketers by trade, and we know they need more than just a tool to get started.
“Whether that’s help with getting their first social media campaign out the door or advice on how to write an attention-grabbing email subject line.
“Our team of marketing experts can help: we truly believe in the power of know-how to get the best results, and we’re here at every step of the way to provide that knowledge to our customers.”
