BHP Law have just appointed their youngest ever partner, as part of the firm’s drive to nurture young talent.
31-year-old Paul Monaghan joined just four years ago, and was last year one of five solicitors to be appointed to the new senior position of Associate.
Managing parter at BHP, John Pratt, said: “I am delighted that Paul has accepted the invitation to join the partnership. In a relatively short period he has gained the confidence and trust of many clients and has rapidly become one of the most respected members of the BHP team.”
Specialist deep cleaning company, 8 Solutions have appointed a new chairman.
Alan Howarth has previously held senior positions at Hewlett Packard, Ernst & Young and Bass Charrington.
Commenting on his new role, Alan said: “Joining the company at this crucial period is exciting and challenging.
“8 Solutions is a key player in the specialist data centre deep cleaning and decontamination sector and currently works with the majority of the FTSE 100 companies in the UK, but the opportunities for growth are significant.”
Chartered surveyors and property consultants, Sanderson Weatherall, have appointed a new managing partner.
Andrew Ellis has been with the firm for 23 years, and will now lead the business and coordinate and communicate the strategic objectives of its Executive Board across the entire company.
Head of office for Newcastle, Richard Farr, commented: “Andrew’s strategic appointment is a boost for our business as we continue to look for ways to enhance our service offering and client base.”
Document management specialists Paragon UK have recruited John Fox as sales manager for the trade arm of the business.
John will be responsible for managing a territory, growing business with current clients and developing prospective relationships.
He said: “The role of sales manager at Paragon provides me with a new challenge. The business is growing and cementing its position within the trade marketplace and with that comes opportunity, which we hope to capitalise upon.”
North East technology solutions company Aspire have appointed a team of five sales executives, and film and cinema promotions specialist Filmology have appointed John Ridley as business development director.
