Innov8 Disposal appoints lucky 7

A multi-award winning North East disposal company continues to expand following the appointment of new staff members as part of a recent recruitment drive.

Stockton-based Innov8 Disposal, which specialises in the legal and safe disposal of all IT and WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronics Equipment) items, has taken on seven new recruits to keep up with its ever-increasing client base.

The Company’s newest team members include recycling operatives Anthony Earl and Alan Mortimer, both from Stockton, and driver Angus Robertson, from Middlesbrough. Also from Middlesbrough are new IT technicians Martin Clifford and Ross Chipper, and telesales operatives Victoria Slatcher and Debbie Heeley.

Innov8 Disposal owes its ongoing success to its free IT collection service, which provides an incentive for companies nationwide to comply with current regulations concerning the disposal of such items, including computers, old fax machines and mobile phone batteries.

The Company, which counts TSG, Cleveland Cable, Teesside University and Stockton Schools ICT Unit among its clients, now hopes to create another six job opportunities this year.

It is already recruiting for another recycling operative and part-time driver whilst offering a position for a new young apprentice.

Managing director Louise Moore said: “We’re really glad to welcome these new additions to our team here at Innov8 Disposal and are proud to be creating more job opportunities in such a difficult climate.

“We’ve gained approximately 380 new clients in one year alone due to the level of service we provide, and we’re confident that our new recruits will help us to keep up with this demand while maintaining the high standards of service and care that our customers expect and deserve.

“We believe it’s the excellent relationship we have with each of our customers that’s helping us to continue expanding. Businesses must be seen to be reducing their amounts of waste, and we want to make this process as convenient as possible whilst ensuring that firms are operating within disposal regulations.”

Innov8 Disposal’s success has previously been celebrated through two North East award wins, including the Entrepreneurs’ Forum’s If We Can, You Can Challenge and, more recently, the Environment category of the Best New Business Awards, which recognised the Company’s environmentally-friendly methods of recycling and disposing of IT equipment.

Louise added: “Our award wins have given us a real confidence boost by recognising the work that my team and I have put into making Innov8 Disposal the success it is.

“We’re now looking forward to expanding further throughout the UK, entering more awards and welcoming even more members to the Innov8 Disposal team.”
