Retaining quality staff is key challenge for businesses
Research by Dale Carnegie has shown that one of the biggest challenges facing North East businesses today is engaging and retaining their best employees.
The leadership and development organisation, which celebrates its 100 year anniversary in 2012, is holding a master class to help businesses overcome this challenge.
The seminar, on Tuesday 15 May at the Marriott Metro Centre will give businesses leaders and HR professionals an insight into developing talented people and give practical and pragmatic ways to engage, develop and retain the most talented people.
Mark Fitzmaurice, director of Dale Carnegie, said: “In the current business climate there is an unprecedented amount of change and uncertainty both in the public and private sector. One of the challenges that many organisations are working on today is to create stronger levels of employee engagement and development as well as keeping their best people with the most potential.
“Last year employee turnover cost the UK economy £42billion. We want to enable organisations in our region to hold onto their key people and so that they can focus on business growth and not recruitment.”
The seminar runs from 8.30am to 10.30am with refreshments provided from 8am. To book a place at the free event contact 0113 251 5116.
