Local Business Headline Sponsor In Charity Golf Day

A North East Business has signed up to become headline sponsor is a new charity golf day at Rockliffe Hall in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Precise Business Advice, which offers small and micro businesses advice and consultancy has decided to sponsor the charity golf day that is due to take place at Rockliffe Hall on Friday 29th June.

David Fletcher who set up the charity golf day after loosing his father due to cancer chose Marie Curie as the charity for which the proceeds will go to.

David said, “I am sure that a lot of people reading this will be or have been affected directly or indirectly by some form of Cancer within their family or close community.

It is an awful thing to go through & not everyone manages to get the ‘all clear’ or see any form of light at the end of what can be a very long tunnel. I lost my Father to Cancer & the compassion, empathy, support & genuine care that the Marie Curie Nurses provided towards the end of my Father’s life was unbelievable. They do a fantastic job, provide a fantastic service & prepare you for every stage of the unfortunate decline.

This inspired me to help raise what I can & is why this day has been founded. With the support of the golfers and local businesses, we shall have a fantastic day and look forward to seeing you all soon“.

The charity golf day will take place on Friday 29th June at Rockliffe Hall.
