Northumbria is running over 150 part-time courses for 2012 entry and these courses offer a variety of study options, including campus-based day release or evening attendance and distance learning.
In addition to the traditional part-time courses we are also able to offer work-based learning programmes designed specifically around you and your organisations needs.

Research Programmes
The University offers both Doctor of Philosophy degrees (PhDs) and Professional Doctorate awards on a part-time basis. Information for prospective postgraduate research students is provided by our Graduate School.

Fees and Funding
For individuals undertaking part-time postgraduate study Northumbria University offers flexible options to pay the course fees over 6 months where the fees are over £500. If you are interested in a part-time undergraduate degree you may be eligible for government funding. Many employers see the benefits of sending their employees to study part-time with Northumbria and are happy to sponsorship study by paying tuition fee loans
