Paul Marshall, Chief Executive, ABS says:

“We are delighted to welcome SCMS Cochin as our first Indian affiliate member. Business and management is global by its very nature and, with their input will enable closer ways to collaborate and consolidate forward.

It is imperative that ABS serves and represents all of our members, and our growing international base and partnerships will enable us to have a holistic approach on a global scale“.

Pradeep Thevannoor, Vice Chairman, SCMS Group of Educational Institutions, Cochin, India said:

“I am delighted that the SCMS-Cochin, an internationally accredited Business School, has been admitted as an affiliate member of the prestigious Association of Business Schools (UK). SCMS has the rare distinction of being the first Indian Business School to be admitted as a member of the ABS.

The activities of ABS, under the dynamic leadership of Mr. Paul Marshall, will go a long way in furthering the cause of quality management education, not only in the UK but also elsewhere in the world. We, the SCMS Group of Educational Institutions based in Cochin, India, are glad to be working with the ABS and offer our support and assistance in all its initiatives planned for India and the Asian subcontinent. The SCMS Group has the unique advantage of having five campuses spread across Cochin (Kerala), Bangalore (Karnataka) and London and will certainly be able to add value to the efforts of ABS for its initiatives in the development of management education and also in forging stronger links between the business schools in the UK and India.

Professor John Ryan, Head of School, SCMS Business School London said:

“The SCMS London School of Business is delighted to have been admitted as an affiliate member of the prestigious UK Association of Business Schools. This is another important step for SCMS LONDON Business School in associating itself with internationally recognized organizations.
