Silverbean goes for growth with new appointments

Silverbean, a leading North East based digital marketing agency, is strengthening its growing team with four new recruits.

Daniel Webb and Kerry Hanks both join Silverbean as client services executives in affiliate marketing. Daniel, an experienced web designer, previously worked as a social media editor at MASHER.

Daniel said: “I have a genuine passion for all things digital and web based and I’m looking forward to working with Silverbean’s clients. Every individual who works at Silverbean is working from the same page and pulling in the same direction which is great.”

Kerry worked in the catalogue department of Sotheby’s Auction House before moving to Grantham College as a marketing assistant. She holds a BA in Fashion Marketing and will work in affiliate marketing for several of Silverbean’s fashion clients - Olivia Rubin, Wolf & Badger and Anna Scholz.

Kerry said: “My new role at Silverbean combines two of my main interests – digital marketing and fashion, and it’s great to be part of a rapidly growing firm.”

Simon Spowart has been appointed as a copywriter. After working in marketing and search engine optimisation roles, Simon created his own freelance copywriting business before taking the opportunity to join Silverbean. He will be working alongside the search marketing team to deliver content for a range of purposes including guest blog posts, press releases and social media marketing.

Simon commented: “I’ve been aware of Silverbean as a leading digital marketing agency since I entered the industry and am delighted to now be part of such a successful and reputable company.”

Silverbean’s fourth new appointment is Katy Frazer, who joins the team as a CRM manager, and will work with clients to improve their email marketing. Katy previously completed a one year placement in technical support at 4Projects before spending three and a half years as an account manager for around 40 clients at Communicator Corp.

Katy said: “Carrying out email marketing can help companies with everything from driving sales through to helping them provide a great level of customer service. It’s ever changing so will never go stale, which is what interested me. I want people to understand the value and potential that lies within this communication channel.”

Steven Underwood, client services director of Silverbean, commented: “Thanks to our growing portfolio of clients across a range of sectors in this past year, we’re pleased to be in a position where we can continue to expand. Our new recruits all impressed us with their enthusiasm and expertise, and we’re delighted to welcome them to our team.”
