Finalists announced for Future Leaders Awards
Five London candidates have been shortlisted for the Women in the City Future Leaders Award 2012.
Eureka Learning sponsor the Inspiring coaching solutions for individuals and organisations, which offers a place on the renowned Cranfield University School of Management’s Accelerated Talent Development Programme for high potential managers.
The prize is worth roughly £12,500, and in the running are: Rachel Bulford, a consultant at OC&C Strategy Consultants; Connie Chan, change programme manager at GBS Deutsche Bank AG; Renee Hawkins, client principal at ThoughtWorks; Gemma Rees, package manager at Balfour Beatty; and Amber Whittam, head of finance at AXA PPP Healthcare.
Michele Edis, managing director at Eureka Learning, said: “I am delighted we are sponsoring the 2012 Women in the City Future Leaders Award.
“This year the level of candidate has been exceptional. This is a fantastic opportunity to recognise, support and nurture female talent and discover the next generation of business leaders.”
The Future Leaders Award acknowledges the achievements of potential fast-track women in the early stages of their management career.
Gwen Rhys, CEO of Networking Culture Ltd and founder of Women in the City, said: “Well done to our top five candidates.
“They stood out from a very strong group of candidates, faced a tough judging panel and answered stimulating and insightful questions to get to this stage.
“Previous years’ winners have gone on to achieve career success and many have been promoted within months of winning. I’m certain that these are five women to watch.”
