Research Findings Continued…
Following on from the recent research the Agile conducted into the technology industry, Agile have launched a new scheme to combat the needs and requirements of companies all across the North East region. Having found that 39% of businesses are looking to switch from their current IT supplier for reasons including poor quality product, lack of augmented product and cost ineffective; Agile have launched a 4 Hours Support scheme. The service is completely free and no obligation and it provides companies with the opportunity to test the services on offer before committing to anything.
Research Results
Agile Networks Director Paul Jones said of the results, “I am genuinely surprised that such a high proportion of businesses are looking to switch from their current IT suppliers. IT and Communication systems are such a big piece of business these days and for over a third of businesses to effectively be unhappy with their current supplier is incredible”. The results suggest that many companies are focusing on a sales orientation approach and then ignoring the customer once the sale is made. Although the research was conducted in the North East, 31% of business’ IT within the region comes from companies based outside of the North East, suggesting that this could possibly be a problem on a national scale.
