Forty five years and still counting!
In 1967 motorcycle stunt rider Evil Kenevil jumped over 16 cars and ‘The King’, Elvis Presley married Priscilla. It was also the year that Brian Dunn, a young school boy ventured in to the world of work.
Forty five years later he’s still working and remarkably for an industry which has seen many peaks and troughs, he is with the same employer, SURGO Construction, one of the region’s leading building contractors.
As a 15-year-old fresh out of school, Brian started his career as an apprentice fitter. Since that time he has supported SURGO’s many site teams around the region by supplying and repairing items of small plant. This exceptionally long service is testament to both SURGO Construction and Brian, to have forged such an enduring working relationship.
